League Of Our Own : Capsule Collection

As the 2020 World Series starts, I begin to think about how one once lived knowing individuals viewed them as three-fifths of a man from the moment they were brought to  America unwillingly. Then, after nearly 250 years of forced labor under slavery, you’re banned from participating in everyday activities and sports that help you feel human - forcing you to create a would of your own to fill that void.

The “League Of Our Own” Capsule Collection is inspired by African descendants and their hunger to create their own baseball league during the Jim Crow era. A toast to a hundred years.
